Simple Eye Makeup Look: 3 products

maybelline-maskara-lavera-ardell-tus

All I need on a daily basis is a good mascara, some eyebrow product, some foundation and a blush. Sometimes I put on an eye liner and that is about it when it comes to makeup. I’m always wearing the “no makeup” makeup look.

It is very important for me to have a good mascara that is easy to apply and will not smudge during the day. I currently use Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying lengthening mascara for fuller lashes, in black. It extends the lashes very nicely, curls them and gives them volume.

Although it’s quite wet at first, it doesn’t give that spider effect to the eyelashes and you can still work with it. It has a rubber brush with ten layers of hair, the brush is curled so it can easily reach every eyelash. It separates the eyelashes nicely and the brush is the ideal size for applying mascara to both the upper and lower lashes.

Christmas Gift Ideas πŸŽ…

clinique-cckrema-notino

Choosing gifts is one of my favorite activities during this pre-Christmas time and I am always full of ideas. What to choose as a gift for your loved ones? If you need some ideas for Christmas presents, you’re in the right place.

The ideal gift any woman would like to receive is a good foundation or a good face cream. Here I have to suggest Clinique Superdefense CC Cream with SPF 30, a great product for everyday use. It has a medium coverage, protects the skin from sunlight and evens out the complexion.

The best thing about this CC cream is that it doesn’t highlight the dry parts at all but gives it extra moisture. It covers some redness and irregularities, but it will not cover a lot of redness or inflamed acne. It provides hydration and the skin simply looks fresh and healthy for hours after application.

For myself, I chose the shade 02 Light, which blends perfectly with my complexion and looks really nice on my face. It has a very thick texture so I prefer to apply it with clean fingers, in the end, I just blend it a little with a sponge or brush.

La Roche-Posay Deodorant & Thermal Water

larocheposay-deo

During these winter months, I am always reaching for gentle and nourishing products, both on my face and body. So this time I decided to try out whether aluminum-free deodorant really works and whether thermal water can improve skin condition.

For ease of use, I prefer spray deodorants so this time I chose La Roche-Posay Physiological spray deodorant. It is designed for sensitive skin and it contains no aluminum, alcohol or parabens.

Instead of aluminum, this deodorant is enriched with magnesium oxide, which has four times the absorption power and is highly effective in neutralizing odors.larocheposay-sensitivedeodorant

H&M Beauty Sponge

hnm-makeupsponge

It’s difficult to find the ideal tool for applying makeup. A brush or a sponge – a question that has come through your mind at least once. Choose a brush if you want more coverage, choose a sponge if you want more of a natural look.

Personally, I was a big fan of brushes until I tried the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge for foundation application. The whole makeup look made with that sponge looked very natural and I loved it because of that. Of course, the sponges have to be changed every few months, so it was time for me to replace mine.

I found a decent replacement for the RT brush and it is the H&M Makeup Queen sponge. When soaked, it increases in volume and it’s very soft. The sponge should be well drained before applying makeup, I usually drain it over the sink and then dry it with a towel so it’s not soaking wet but damp.

Artdeco: Perfect Teint Foundation & Setting Powder Compact

artdeco-notino-puderi

You must have noticed that in the last few months, I have talked more about preparative cosmetics than decorative cosmetics. Makeup is my first love and the reason why I started this blog at all, but over time I realized that skin care was equally important. I will do my best to keep an equal ratio of makeup and skincare on the blog in the future. Today’s post is all about Artdeco foundation and compact powder.

We all love a good foundation, don’t we? How to choose a proper liquid foundation at all? When choosing a foundation, pay attention to details such as texture, coverage, skin type and choose the right product accordingly. It’s not a bad idea to look for a review or video to see what that foundation looks like, and even better if the person reviewing the product has the same skin type as you. You can apply the same principle when choosing a foundation or powder shade.

Today I’m talking about two Artdeco products – a liquid foundation and a compact powder. Artdeco Perfect Teint Foundation in the shade 12 Soft Vanilla is a liquid oil-free foundation that has medium to high coverage. I’m very pale, especially in the winter, and this neutral shade is perfect for my skin tone. It covers the redness really well and evens out the complexion. It has a very liquid and dry texture and dries very quickly on the skin. The powder should be blended very quickly after application to the face as it dries very quickly and can no longer be handled when dried.artdeco-tekucipuder

Organic Skincare: Lavera & Apivita

lavera-apivita-prirodnakozmetika

Recently, I’m more into natural cosmetics and two brands have particularly caught my attention. These are Lavera and Apivita brands, and you can read about their products today. Since natural cosmetics can sometimes be of higher price range, I chose products that are very affordable and accessible.

-Lavera Purifying Facial Toner-

Lavera tonic with ginkgo and organic grapes is made for combination and oily skin, I use it after cleansing my face and this is a step I do not skip. Excellent tonic that refreshes the skin and restores moisture. It shrinks the pores a bit and it makes a very good base for applying other skin care products. It contains alcohol from certified organic agriculture but does not burn the skin.

World of Beauty Organic Skincare

worldofbeauty-organiccosmetics

For the last few weeks I have had the opportunity to try out World of Beauty products. It’s a cosmeceutical brand with natural and organic skincare whose products are used by beauty salons and spas around the world. I got to try the micellar water, face cream and the face serum, you can find out below how I liked these products.

As a first step in my cleansing routine, I use the Reviva Micellar Water to remove all of the makeup and impurities from my face. This micellar water is made of organic micelles, ionizing water and tiny molecules of oil combined with Australian aloe extract. This combination of ingredients attracts all of the impurities from the face and removes it without drying out the skin.

This micellar water is intended for people who have normal to oily skin and it is also suitable for people who have sensitive skin. It easily removes all makeup from the skin, even mascara and long lasting foundation. It does not burn the eyes and it is very gentle to the skin.reviva-worldofbeauty

Empties + My Consumer Habits

empties

Recently, I posted a brief review of all the products I have used up in the last few months on my Insta Story. The emphasis was on preparative cosmetics, along with several pieces of decorative cosmetics. I also decided to give a brief overview of products I’ve finished and some of my consumer habits.

I gave myself the task of finishing every open product before opening a new product. Given that I often try new products for my blog, that is sometimes an impossible mission. As much as I can, I try to control the amount of products I own, whether I buy them myself or get them in the form of a collaboration.

I always make sure that I don’t have a lot of open products in the same category of products. I have that in mind before opening new products and testing everything I need for reviews and for the blog. I choose products by looking at what I currently don’t have in my collection or what’s running out. That’s how I find finding place for new products. I do not want to have four face creams open at the same time as there is very little chance that I will actually have the time to use them all.

In the past year, I have switched more to skin care products, but I still enjoy doing my makeup and playing with makeup products. I have been collecting these empty products since January, since the last empties post/video I posted on YouTube. I accidentally threw out some products, such as shower gels, but I will write about the amount of products that are still with me at this point.blanx-toothpaste-handcream

FOREO LUNA mini 3 + Winter Skincare Routine

foreolunamini3-rutina

I want to share with you some of my skincare favorites that I use during these colder days. My skin is particularly sensitive to temperature change and cold weather so I have to give it a lot more attention than usual.

What can we do to protect our skin from external influences such as cold and dry air? Coldness and dry air, in my case, are often one of the main culprits of my skin being dried out in some parts. In addition to treating the skin from the outside, it is also important to bring nutrients into the body. So, drink plenty of water to stay hydrated on the inside and consume healthy foods and vitamins that will boost your immune system.

In winter months, my skin always needs special treatment. I often stay indoors where the air is so dry and this does not suit my skin. My protective skin barrier is compromised at times and I have to work on upping my hydration level. I have my skin care routine ready with FOREO and other proven products to help keep my skin in good shape during this cold period.

Candles and Body Care: At Home Spa

biomed-oriflame-facemask

What do you do when you want to relax? I put on a face mask, light some candles and shut down all of my social media. It has become a fulfilling ritual for me and I feel better afterwards every time. Everyone has a different way of relaxing, and I’ll show you mine today.

With the arrival of the winter months when the weather is gloomy and cold, inspiration and creativity sometimes disappear. Then I like to do something for myself, take an hour for myself, an hour without pressure and stress. I light one or two candles and enjoy the scent. There is something soothing about watching a candle burn.lidlcetka
