Liquid matt lipsticks are increasingly popular every day and almost every brand has their own version. -WHAT ARE MY THOUGHTS ABOUT THE PRODUCT?-

The lipstick and the pen are not exactly the same shades, the pencil is lighter than the lipstick, but the difference is unnoticeable when applied. The pencil is soft and slides well on the lips. It can easily be sharpened. The lipstick has excellent pigmentation and a single layer is enough to fill the entire lips. The applicator is a really precise, evenly applies product and in combination with the pen looks very good.

Regular exfoliating can be crucial in maintaining a clear skin and radiant complexion. Exfoliating removes dead skin cells from the face and prevents irregularities and ingrown hairs. If you are interested in learning more about this topic, keep reading.

Exfoliation can be mechanical or chemical. Mechanical peeling cleanses the surface of the skin with finely grounded particles, while chemical peeling goes deep into the skin with active ingredients such as AHA and BHA acids. Himalaya Herbals Face Cleansing Gel is designed for normal to oily skin, it removes dirt and fights against acne. Besides neem extract, the gel contains curcuma. It removes excess oil without additionally drying out the skin.

-WHAT ARE NEEM AND TURMERIC?-

Neem is an Indian tree with antibacterial and inflammatory properties, and residents of India have been using it for thousands of years to treat various illnesses and diseases. It is believed to cure everything – from acne to sinusitis and skin diseases. On the other hand, it is not recommended to use in pregnancy due to unknown repercussions that could have on the child.

Turmeric is a gingerbread plant and is extremely medicinal. It can remove redness from the face, hyperpigmentation, acne scars and psoriasis symptoms.

-WHAT DO I THINK OF THIS PRODUCT?-

I discovered this wash gel in Tester Box and I really liked it. I’m already finishing up my third packaging. I used it in the morning and in the evening or once a day. I mostly combined it with some other products. A very small amount of gel for the whole face is needed, about a grain of peas. With such use, one gel lasts for me, five months for sure.

Using toners has been a crucial part of my skin care routine for years. I apply it with a cotton pad on a cleansed skin, then I’m sure my skin is clean and ready to apply the rest of the my skin care. I currently use a glycolic acid toner, and you can find out more about it below.

Glycolic acid is one of the AHA (alpha hydroxy) acids and provides a very gentle exfoliation of the skin, eliminating dead skin cells which results in a more radiant and cleaner complexion. It can be found in a variety of products, and it’s most commonly recommended for people with acne as it can reduce scarring and promote skin cells renewal. With the use of glycolic acid, as well as any exfoliating acid, it’s recommended to apply a sunscreen to avoid skin damage due to sun exposure.

I received a Pixi Glow Tonic as a gift and could hardly wait to start using it. I haven’t used glycolic acid so far, so initially I only used this toner 2-3 times a week. That was enough to see if I’ll have any reactions to this product, now I use it every day and mostly in the evenings. I noticed that my face was clearer and the complexion was more beautiful and even. The occurrence of small pimples has decreased and stubborn blackheads started disappearing in some places.

I like to try out new products so this time I decided to make a lip care set with which you can prepare your lips for applying lipstick. I chose a lip balm and a lip scrub, it is a versatile combination that will suit many as the products are very nourishing and not rough on the skin.

To prepare the lips for lipstick application or application of any other lip products, especially matte lipstick, it is necessary to exfoliate the lips first. I used to do a homemade lip scrub, but I got bored of it so I decided to try a new product. I will use Burt’s Bees Conditioning Lip Scrub to remove any dead skin cells and impurities from the lips.

This lip scrub contains 100% natural ingredients such as castor oil, beeswax and honey crystals. The exfoliation is very mild and softens the lips while nourishing and regenerating them. The scrub particles are so finely ground that they melt immediately when applying the product to the lips. It makes me feel like I am applying a lip balm, not a scrub.

In one of the previous articles I have announced product reviews from Notino and now I’m bringing you four new products. One foundation, a nail polish, a highlighter and a lip balm. I’ve tested these products for the last couple of weeks and now my final impressions are here.

-L’Oréal Paris Color Riche nail polish, shade 114 Nude Demoiselle-

If I paint my nails, I paint them with a lighter shade because I’m clumsy and darker shades do not look good on my nails. This milky pink shade had me at first glance and I did not make any mistakes when choosing. You need two layers for full coverage and it lasted for five days without any chipping.

I have to say that this is the first nail polish that smells nice after painting. I do not know if I made it up, but I really feel a nice powdered scent ha-ha.
